Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak arrived for a one-day working visit to Kuala Terengganu on May 23rd, 2016. The Prime Minister arrived at Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu before proceeding to Pasar Kedai Payang. YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib met the traders and mingle with the crowd while visiting retail sites in the market. In the evening, the Prime Minister officiating Pondok Ijtimak in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. Later that day, the Prime Minister launched Akuapolitan project in Seberang Takir, Kuala Nerus before heading back to Kuala Lumpur.
