Kuala Terengganu City Council has launched the New Parking Rate of rotary type parking on March 30, 2016. The ceremony was officiated by The Honourable Haji Bazlan bin Abd Rahman, Deputy Chairman II, Local Government and Housing Minister togheter with the mayor of Kuala Terengganu City Council, Dato Haji Mohamad Kamil Othman. The launching ceremony was held to inform the public about the new rate of rotary type parking which previously charged RM2.50 for the first hour and RM1.00 for the next hour. The charged for new rate decreased by 50 cent, it costs RM2.00 for the first hour and RM1.00 for the next hour. This rotary type parking has 232 units of parking lot, 200 units for regular cars and 32 units parking for MPV.
