On September 6, 2017, KT City Ride 2017 was held at DataranPantaiBatuBurok. Almost 500 participants involved, including officers and staff of Kuala Terengganu City Council, outside agencies and residents of the City in this 6.5 km bicycle ride. The Acting Mayor, Tuan Haji Samiun bin Sallehalso participated in the program. The program was held to introduce the oBike. This facility is in line with the State Governments to reduce the use of vehicles and minimize carbon emissions in preserving the environment. The program can improve the quality of life and promote healthy lifestyle among the people in the city.
