The ceremony was held in front of YAB. Dato' Seri Hj. Ahmad bin Said, the Chief Minister of Terengganu on January 16th, 2014 at Convention Hall, Wisma Darul Iman. Thirteen councillors from Kuala Terengganu City Council attended the occasion. Beginning this year, the mayor and the Speakers will be appointed for two terms or 4 years only by the State Government to consider others to perform new ideas for the development.
