The ceremony was held on November 20th., 2014 at 8.30 a.m. located at Stadium Negeri, Kuala Terengganu. YBhg. Dato' Hj. Adzlan bin Mohd Dagang, the Mayor, YBhg. Encik Marzuki bin Endut, the Secretary and Tuan Hj. Rozali bin Salleh, Director's of Human Resources Department, the directors, officers and all MBKT staff attended the ceremony.

It began with Negaraku Song and followed by Selamat Sultan and also Bandaraya Kuala Terengganu sang by all staff. A few words conveyed by the Mayor were regarding his retirement in December 2014 after 35 years services in government sector. He also pleaded for forgiven in any chance he could made mistakes and also forgave all staffs before retirement.
